Chris Abbey > St. Francis of Assisi convent; a 3-story Italian Romanesque building atop Assisi Heights, is home to the sisters of St. Francis. The structure bears a striking resemblance to the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Italy. The convent has a unique red tile roof, slate floors, a Romanesque ceiling, and beautiful hand-blown stained glass windows from Germany.

Chris Abbey > On the way to the cabin a stand of Birch and other trees interact with the sunlight to produce some etherial shafts of light.
Chris Abbey > The bridge over the Boulder river, last hurdel to getting to  the cabin from the back door of which you can see Contact Mountain, so this is in my mind not only the bridge to the cabin, but the bridge to Mt. Contact, as shown here.
Chris Abbey > On the way to the cabin, "Chocolate Drop Mountain" in the vernacular of my wife's family (it's their cabin) framed by a couple of the big beautiful pine trees we went up there to enjoy.
